Bela traditional village
Flores island keeps some traditionnal village in the center of the island, near Bajawa.
Theses villages are particular because, they combine animist belief
with some christian religion. So for exemple, they keep sign of
offering like Bull horn or "kind of" puppet on top of the roof, and as
well, they put the grave of the ancestor in the middle of the village.
There is as well a totem for women and men in the center of the village (see next pictures..) and some stupa.
During the day, only old people and children are in the village, all adult are in the field, farming.
